Optional accidental damage protection for $35 per reservation.
Accidents happen! GearGuard helps protect you from unexpected repair charges if your rental gear is accidentally damaged during normal use.
What's Covered
GearGuard covers accidental damage that can reasonably be repaired, including:
- Accidental rips, tears, or punctures
- Accidental stains that require special cleaning
- Accidentally damaged zippers, buckles, or other components
- Minor accidental damage caused by animals, provided the item can reasonably be repaired and returned to rental inventory
What's Not Covered
GearGuard does not cover:
- Lost, stolen, or missing rental items
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or improper care
- Burns, melting, or other heat damage that makes gear unusable
- Damage that cannot reasonably be repaired or makes an item unsuitable for future rentals
Reservations Without GearGuard
GearGuard is optional and must be added to your reservation to receive its protection.
If GearGuard is not included in your reservation, you may be responsible for reasonable repair or replacement costs for damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Important Information
GearGuard costs $35 per reservation and applies to eligible rental items included in that reservation.
GearGuard covers eligible accidental damage that can reasonably be repaired. It does not cover lost items, damage beyond repair, or replacement costs for equipment that can no longer be returned to rental inventory.
