Founded in 2015, Alaska Element began as a small, family-run business with a simple goal: helping visitors experience the beauty of Alaska without worrying about the extreme cold.

Living in Interior Alaska, we understand just how important the right winter gear can be. We saw that many visitors arrived excited to experience the northern lights, dog sledding, and everything else our winters have to offer, but weren't always prepared for the temperatures they would encounter.

What started small has grown intentionally over the years, guided by firsthand experience, attention to detail, and a commitment to making every guest's Alaska adventure a little easier.

Today, Alaska Element remains family owned and operated, with hands-on involvement in every detail, built on experience, careful preparation, and genuine care for the people we outfit.

We specialize in high-quality winter clothing rentals designed to keep visitors warm, dry, and comfortable in the extreme conditions of Interior Alaska.

From insulated parkas and snow bibs to winter boots and mittens, our gear is carefully selected with Alaska's demanding winter weather in mind. We know what works because we live here, experience these conditions ourselves, and understand the difference properly fitted winter gear can make.
